Speedracer is a usage-based product. There are no monthly subscriptions, no per-seat fees, and no plan tiers. You pay only for what you use.

How it works

  • 5% platform markup on AI provider costs. For every $1 of underlying third-party AI model spend (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, and similar providers) that Speedracer consumes on your behalf, we add a 5% platform fee — so $1.00 of provider cost deducts $1.05 from your wallet. The provider cost and platform fee are tracked separately in your in-app usage ledger for transparency, but they are not billed as a separate Paddle line item — Paddle only ever charges your fixed prepaid top-up amounts.
  • Prepaid wallet. You top up your workspace wallet in advance. Usage is deducted as you go. When the balance reaches $0, AI features pause until you top up.
  • No expiration. Wallet balances do not expire as long as your account is active.

What you're paying for

AI usage only. The 5% platform fee applies exclusively to AI model usage that Speedracer consumes inside the product on your behalf — LLM tokens, image generation, embeddings, and similar AI provider calls.

Not a fee on your marketing spend. Speedracer does not take a percentage of your advertising budgets, ad-platform spend (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok), influencer payments, or any external marketing expenditure. We do not run ads on your behalf and have no access to your ad-account billing. There is no agency fee, retainer, or percentage-of-campaign charge — Speedracer is a self-serve software product, not a marketing agency.

Top-up amounts

Paddle only ever charges fixed prepaid top-ups in the following amounts:

  • $25
  • $100
  • $500
  • $1,000

Taxes and fees

Top-ups are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST is calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout based on your billing location and added to the displayed top-up amount.

Changes to pricing

If we ever change the $0.05-per-$1 rate, we will notify active workspaces by email at least 30 days in advance. The new rate will only apply to usage incurred after the effective date.
